About Me

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Masters degree and Post-graduate Diploma in Contemporary Therapeutic Counselling from the University of Hertfordshire. This was an intensive 4 and a half year theoretical and experiential training.
  • Certification in Brainspotting therapy. This innovative therapy uses aspects of mindfulness and body-based therapy to help process traumatic experiences or difficult emotions.
  • Polyvagal theory and working with parts in an IFS (Internal Family Systems) informed way. These are integrated into my practice.
  • BA (Hons) degree from the University of Leeds.
  • I have used my expertise to write and deliver workshops on Transference and Countertransference for trainee and qualified therapists.
  • I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that my practice meets a high level of competence. As such, I continue to develop my expertise through ongoing professional development.

At my private practice, I provide long-term, ongoing and short-term therapy for individuals to men and women of all ages and from all backgrounds.

Previously, I have provided therapy in a charitable Counselling service in North London and to new, vulnerable and distressed mothers at a Counselling service in Hertfordshire.
